videos, 00:30are going to be all about so this is my, 00:32very first tutorial video I'm going to, 00:36these every Tuesday if not every other, 00:39Tuesday so yeah guys I hope you enjoyed, 00:42this video I hope it's very helpful to, 00:44you and yeah let's get straight into the, 00:46tutorial alright guys so for today's, 00:51sticker tip we're gonna be teaching you, 00:52how to laminate your stickers now for, 00:54those of you who don't understand what, 00:56it means to laminate your stickers it, 00:58basically means to take a regular paper, 00:59sticker just like this one on regular, 01:01sticker paper and it means to add kind, 01:04of a protective gloss layer over the top, 01:06which not only makes it look really nice, 01:09and protects the sticker but it also, 01:11especially protects against weather so, 01:14once you go ahead and put these out in, 01:16the streets or slap them up somewhere, 01:19weather especially the rain affecting, 01:21these in any way once you do this it, 01:23makes them completely waterproof and, 01:25they'll last a lot longer outside so I'm, 01:28going to teach you guys the cheapest and, 01:30easiest way to make these so let's go, 01:32ahead and see what we need alright guys, 01:35so there's basically four really simple, 01:37things that we're gonna need to start, 01:38laminating or stickers first off we're, 01:40gonna need some packaging tape now this, 01:42is just some packaging tape that I got, 01:45it only cost me a buck and I've already, 01:49laminated stickers with this already you, 01:52can go the other route and you get some, 01:53more expensive packaging tape this one, 01:55cost about three to five dollars I want, 01:57to say but it is a little thicker that, 01:59being said since the cheaper tape is, 02:02quite a bit thinner it can be a little, 02:04bit frustrating to get used to but once, 02:06you have the hang of it it's no big deal, 02:08guys basically next we're gonna need, 02:11scissors just your favorite scissors, 02:13after that we're gonna need a ruler so, 02:17basically I just have a couple kinds of, 02:19like regular wooden rulers this works, 02:22fine too if you guys have like a wooden, 02:24painters stick or whatever you call them, 02:26that works fine to try and stay away, 02:31we're using the ruler for today it might, 02:33end up ripping your sticker so don't go, 02:36that route and last but not least we're, 02:39gonna need our sticker design now this, 02:41works for basically any kind of sticker, 02:44hand-drawn a prin final thermal anything, 02:49this is just a regular hand-drawn on a, 02:51paper sticker and this was a hand-drawn, 02:54that I put into my computer and then I, 02:56printed it out on this sticker paper and, 02:58I just cut it out in a square so this is, 03:02what we're gonna be teaching you guys, 03:03how to laminate with today so let's go, 03:05ahead and get straight into the tutorial, 03:09alright guys so again what we're trying, 03:11to do here is we're just trying to take, 03:13our tape and we're gonna be covering the, 03:15surface of this design now it might be a, 03:18little tricky the first few times you do, 03:20it just because you might get some air, 03:21bubbles but the more you do it the more, 03:25so depending upon how big your design is, 03:28some stickers might take two or three, 03:31strips of tape to cover as you can see, 03:33here this one's gonna take about two, 03:37design so basically what we're gonna do, 03:41we're just gonna lay it on a really flat, 03:44clean surface next we're just gonna take, 03:46our tape and we're gonna rip off a nice, 03:48strip I'm using the heavier tape for, 03:57this tutorial today just because you, 03:59guys will probably be able to see it a, 04:02little better in the camera alright so, 04:04what we're gonna want to do is again, 04:06just make sure your sticker is laid on, 04:10the flat surface nicely you're gonna, 04:15and you're just gonna press the edge on, 04:18your flat surface now what you're gonna, 04:22press the edge where the sticker meets, 04:26the tape okay now be careful not to let, 04:28this side drop down on the design and, 04:30you don't want to pull it really tight, 04:32what we're gonna do here next is we're, 04:35just gonna take our ruler and we're just, 04:39we're just gonna really gently slide the, 04:42ruler across the tape and we're just, 04:45letting the tape fall I'm not pulling, 04:47the tape super tight if I do that I'll, 04:54strip of tape on the design I'm gonna go, 04:56ahead and rip another strip off make, 05:00sure you cover that whole thing so we're, 05:09press the edge where the tape meets this, 05:12sticker we're gonna put our ruler on, 05:13there we're just gonna slide across and, 05:16we're gonna let the tape fall all right, 05:23completely laminated now for the next, 05:26part what we're gonna do let me zoom in, 05:28here just a little bit is we're gonna, 05:32take our ruler we're gonna take the edge, 05:33of it where it's nice and rounded and, 05:35we're just gonna press out our design as, 05:37you can see the more I press it out the, 05:39darker the design gets and it gets all, 05:41those tiny microscopic air bubbles out, 05:43of there and it's gonna make your colors, 05:45pop out a lot brighter and just make the, 06:09completely laminated sticker after we, 06:12cut it out it'll look something like, 06:14this now I'm going to show you guys with, 06:16a hand-drawn really quick same exact, 06:19idea so again really simple we just take, 06:23our sticker design we lay it on our flat, 06:25surface make sure it's nice and clean, 06:27take our tape we're gonna cover one side, 06:33covered press down that tape press down, 06:35the edge of your design and we're just, 06:39gonna slide the tape across and the next, 06:50one and again we're just gonna press, 06:54that out get all the air bubbles out, 07:10alright guys in there we have it that's, 07:13stickers make them weatherproof when you, 07:15go and put these up out in the streets, 07:17outside you won't have to worry about, 07:18rain anymore so I hope you guys enjoyed, 07:21this tutorial I hope it was very helpful, 07:23to you let me know what you guys think, 07:29subscribe button and if you do end up, 07:34stickers leave a comment down below and, 07:36let me know how it worked for you thanks, Sticker Tip Tuesday!
